What Youll Do
- Perform the full analytical process from sample preparation through data analysis using IC GC and GC-MS instrumentation;
- Document activities and report results clearly concisely and in accordance with quality standards;
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical issues as needed;
- Interpret samples and analytical data to support client and regulatory requirements;
- Operate and gain proficiency with chromatography equipment and software including ChemStation Target LIMS and other industry-standard systems;
- Participate in the development revision and implementation of SOPs;
- Maintain calibrate troubleshoot and repair laboratory instrumentation as necessary;
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of calibrations inspections and equipment repairs;
- Actively participate in the laboratorys Quality System and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Other duties as assigned.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related field preferred;
- Experience with commercially available instrumentation and EPA methods (IC GC and GC-MS) including routine through complex analytical techniques;
- Demonstrated diligence strong work ethic and ability to work independently;
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and details;
- High energy level confidence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;

Your Schedule and The Fine Print
- Full-time position following a standard Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts;
- Flexibility to participate in the on-call rotation schedule as well as work outside of normal hours to support business needs and deadlines.
