Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for protecting the organizations digital assets identifying security risks and implementing solutions to safeguard systems networks and data. This role involves continuous monitoring incident response vulnerability management and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor networks systems and security tools to detect suspicious activities or potential threats.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.

Respond to security incidents by investigating root causes and applying corrective measures.

Maintain and update security policies procedures and documentation.
-
Perform regular security audits and support compliance initiatives (ISO 27001 NIST GDPR etc.).

Configure and manage security tools such as SIEM firewalls IDS/IPS endpoint protection and identity management systems.

Collaborate with IT DevOps and application teams to implement secure architectures and best practices.

Conduct user awareness training to strengthen organizational security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field.

8 years of experience in cybersecurity IT security operations or incident response.

Strong knowledge of network security security protocols and common cyberattack techniques.
-
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk QRadar Sentinel).
-
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS Azure GCP).
-
Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security CEH CISSP or CISM.
-
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
