About the role

As a Technical Project Manager youll be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of projectsfrom scoping to construction. Your key tasks will include securing project funding ensuring on-time delivery managing budgets and upholding quality standards. Youll engage with a variety of stakeholders mitigate risks and ensure our customers needs are met. Your technical skills especially your proficiency with systems like SAP and GIS will be crucial to your success.

Youll collaborate closely with our internal teams including the Principal Engineer and Health & Safety Advisors and work with external partners like contractors local authorities and end-users. Strong communication ethical integrity and leadership will be essential as you build positive relationships influence project teams and drive excellent outcomes for our customers. By living Powercos values of safety trust and collaboration youll play a key role in the successful delivery of our gas network projects and contribute to achieving our mission and vision.

To be a success in this role you will need:

  • Ability to engage and quickly establish and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strategic and big picture thinking always looking ahead
  • Ability to thrive and lead in uncertain complex and ambiguous situations agility and adaptability is key
  • Able to drive high performance through others ensuring that the workstream teams maintains focus and momentum towards achieving the goals

It would ideal if you have:

  • Technical knowledge of utility network construction
  • Creativity and ability to solve problems by thinking outside of the box
  • Experience with Agile methodology and design-thinking
