Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Manager with 7 years of experience in software testing and test automation. This role involves designing planning and executing test strategies for modern web products building robust automation frameworks and driving quality practices within agile product teams. The ideal candidate will also mentor and guide junior SDETs while being a strong advocate for testing and quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design plan and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based products.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using the latest testing tools and practices.
Act as a quality advocate within agile product teams ensuring high standards across the software development lifecycle.
Mentor support and provide technical guidance to junior SDETs.

Requirements:

7 years of professional experience in software testing including: (Test planning execution monitoring defect tracking and test reporting Test planning execution monitoring defect tracking and test reporting).
Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks following industry best practices.
Strong background in working within agile product teams.
Hands-on experience with GIT or other distributed version control systems.
Proven experience mentoring and coaching other SDETs.

Good to Have:

Exposure to SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Experience with microservices architectures.
Knowledge of non-functional testing tools and techniques (e.g. performance security accessibility).
