Job Description
The Echo Trailblazers internship gives you the confidence community and communication skills needed to forge a new path. As a member of the Echo Global Logistics team youll work on real-world projects learn from logistics legends and work toward a common goal: simplifying transportation for our clients and will be on the road to success as an Echo Trailblazer!
Echo is looking for motivated self-starters who are eager to learn earn and advance in an ever growing industry. As a Carrier Sales Intern you will partner with a Client Rep in sourcing side of the brokerage establishing relationships to provide cost-effective logistics solutions for Echos customers. You will develop strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. As you advance your sales skillset you will continue to be challenged throughout the year.

Carrier Sales Responsibilities & Job Duties
Partner closely with your mentor on all duties and projects throughout the summer
Assist in growing a book of business through identifying sourcing and developing relationships with prospective clients.
Work with your mentor in managing a high volume of outbound phone calls to sell Echos transportation solutions negotiate rates and service your existing client network.
Effectively utilize Salesforce and Echos proprietary software to handle daily operational tasks such as client prospecting invoicing and tracking shipments.
Build relationships with internal departments to ensure Echo is growing with and ahead of industry standards
Opportunity to work on onboard new and existing carrier accounts ontoEchoDrive Echos web portal and mobile app for carriers

Requirements
Must be able to start June 1 2026 and complete the entire 10 week program
Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
Able to work in our Chicago office 3 days and hybrid 2 days a week
No major or GPA requirements
