RN Cardiac Neuro Telemetry- Permanent Role

Location: Sanford FL 32771
Shift: 12-hr Night 07:00 PM 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Cardiac Neuro Telemetry unit adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient telemetry and neuro status accurately and promptly report changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions and nursing interventions.
• Comply with hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 1-2 years) RN acute care experience required.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure:
  • Candidates with 3 years of RN experience and a compact license may be considered but must apply for Florida RN licensure.
  • Candidates with less than 3 years RN experience must pass the FL NCLEX exam before consideration if they do not hold a Florida RN license.
• Certifications:
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire; candidates will work under NIHSS credentials until certification is completed.
