Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Float Pool to join our team in Muskegon MI. This is a travel nursing opportunity for an experienced RN who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across diverse medical/surgical units.
Youll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. If youre a compassionate detail-oriented nurse looking for your next assignment this position is an excellent opportunity.
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Days: Monday Friday (3 shifts per week 12 hours each)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor record and communicate patient conditions to the care team.
- Act as a primary coordinator for interdisciplinary care to ensure well-organized treatment.
- Accurately note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Support discharge planning in collaboration with physicians case managers and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry setting.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred but not required.
