Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care to join our Enterostomal Therapy Department in Silver Spring MD. This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM 4:30 PM 40 hours/week) allowing you to provide specialized wound care while maintaining work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in wound management and hold a Wound Care Certification (WCC). This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with patients physicians and the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with healthcare policies protocols and best practices.
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
- Accurately document and communicate patient conditions.
- Serve as the primary care coordinator across multiple disciplines for seamless patient-centered care.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and support discharge planning needs.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Maryland or compact state).
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) required.
- Strong communication critical thinking and organizational skills.
