Job Description

Travel RN Step-Down Unit (Contract Role)
Location: Culver City CA 90232
Shift: 12-hr Shift
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $1872 $2016; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to high-acuity individuals transitioning from ICU-level care.
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry manage IV drips and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Perform frequent assessments and respond appropriately to abnormal vital signs or lab values.
  • Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge planning.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols infection control standards and safety policies.

Required Requirements:

  • Active RN License (California)
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 1 2 years of recent SDU or Telemetry experience
  • Experience with ventilators cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
