Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to high-acuity individuals transitioning from ICU-level care.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry manage IV drips and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform frequent assessments and respond appropriately to abnormal vital signs or lab values.
- Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge planning.
- Adhere to hospital protocols infection control standards and safety policies.
Required Requirements:
- Active RN License (California)
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 2 years of recent SDU or Telemetry experience
- Experience with ventilators cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
