Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
Youll play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of our railway products. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (design project management and manufacturing) create finite element analysis (FEA) models and propose design improvements for calculated parts among other responsibilities.
Youll specifically take care of preparing and validating FEA models but also contribute to planning and delivering calculation activities as per project requirements.
Well look to you for:
Preparing finite element models for complex assemblies independently.
Performing calculations and analyses as per project requirements.
Planning and piloting calculation discipline activities and deliverables.
Applying calculation methodologies processes and tools to ensure quality deliverables.
Suggesting design improvements for calculated parts (reinforcements or simplifications).
Documenting and reporting calculation activities including validation plans and progress updates.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
12 years of experience in finite element analysis preferably applied to railway products.
Proficiency in using FEA tools such as Altair Hypermesh Hyperview and Optistruct (mandatory).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including with external customers.
Time management and reporting skills with a sense of urgency and priority.
Customer and product focus with a structured and hands-on approach.
Operational proficiency in English for reading writing and technical meetings.
