Job Summary

Essential requirements:

Bachelors degree in Technical Communication Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer (5 years preferred) preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
Strong writing and editing skills in American English with a focus on clarity and precision.
Knowledge of writing in simplified technical English is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile environments can effectively contribute to documentation in iterative development cycles.
Experience in SolidWorks Composer (or similar) for creating illustrations.
Experience in Adobe Illustrator.
Experience working with Component Content Management System (CCMS) tools.

Meritorious:

CCMS tools Quanos Schema ST4 and Skribenta.
Familiarity with automatic door systems or similar mechanical systems is a plus.
Collaboration tools such as Confluence Teams or Slack facilitates effective teamwork across global teams.
Certifications in technical writing such as the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC).
