What you will do
Responsible for leading the sale of Johnson Controls Complex Security offerings to general contractors electrical contractors and consulting engineers. Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to the construction community by providing business and technical solutions. Extensive knowledge in Enterprise-related Security and Fire is required including selling the Edwards EST Honeywell or Simplex Fire solutions. You should also possess intimate knowledge of Enterprise security solutions such as CCTV and Card Access Systems. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts or territory. Responsible for customer satisfaction and loyalty while working in conjunction with operations partners. Position renewable service agreements as a foundational strategy for account relationships.
How you will do it
Lead a team of sellers selling the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively persistently and confidently to all members of the construction community including contractors consultants and designers while achieving optimal profit levels. Focus on all opportunities that enable the team to help the contractor reach their business objectives. Manage multiple ongoing opportunities. Oversee the selling renewing and expansion of renewable service agreements including multi-year agreements to both new and existing assigned customers.
Develop and foster partnering relationships with the owner construction community to drive the sale of Johnson Controls offerings. Actively listen probe and identify concerns. Understand the customers business cycle and customer base. Demonstrate technical and business expertise while maintaining a high level of credibility. Build customer loyalty trust and commitment.
Seek out target and initiate contact with multiple prospective customers in alignment with Johnson Controls strategy. Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts. Understand and utilize the sales process outcomes and demonstrate evidence of advancing the sale. Share technical knowledge and business expertise with the customer to match the solution to the customers operational needs and favorably position Johnson Controls. Qualify and assess potential customers.
Address customers operational and environmental objectives needs and requirements. Recommend solutions and connect customer objectives to total value solutions and competitive advantages. Differentiate Johnson Controls services and products from competitors by applying creativity resourcefulness and innovation in a valuable sales approach.
Act as the customers advocate in interactions with Johnson Controls to ensure they receive the best value from our offerings. Set appropriate customer expectations on Johnson Controls offerings. Participate in final project inspections. Ensure that the customer is trained and oriented to system operation and the value of services delivered.
What we look for
Required
Bachelors degree in business engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience selling enterprise-related fire and security solutions.
Proven experience managing a team of sales professionals.
Experience with Salesforce.
Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to influence the market at key levels.
Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $00 (Salary to be determined by the education experienceknowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
