Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
-
Oversee piping design stress analysis layouts and material selection in oil & gas and industrial projects.
-
Ensure engineering deliverables comply with international standards (ASME API etc.).
-
Drive innovation precision and reliability in engineering practices.
-
Oversee multidisciplinary project deliverables for brownfield and detailed engineering projects.
-
Ensure adherence to quality systems risk management protocols and cost control measures.
-
Collaborate with project teams to integrate engineering solutions effectively.
-
Monitor progress and provide technical direction to ensure project milestones are achieved.
-
Mentor and develop engineers fostering technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
-
Build a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
-
Support training initiatives and succession planning to strengthen the engineering function.
-
Ensure compliance with industry best practices health & safety regulations and company policies.
-
Uphold QA/QC standards and enforce process discipline across engineering teams.
-
Represent the company in client meetings audits and stakeholder discussions.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong technical background in piping engineering and oil & gas projects.
-
In-depth knowledge of international piping codes ASME standards and industry best practices.

Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering experience in oil & gas and industrial projects.
-
Proven expertise in piping design stress analysis and material selection.
-
Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale project deliverables.
-
Experience in QA/QC risk management cost control and quality systems implementation.
-
Proficiency in engineering software/tools relevant to piping and stress analysis.
-
Strong knowledge of engineering design methodologies and project lifecycle management.
-
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
-
Ability to work under pressure and deliver in high-demand environments.
