YOUR TASKS:
As a Customs Supervisor your role will be varied however detailed below are some of the key duties required within the role
Provide high quality services and maintain performance on all level of customs activities in order to meet customers needs
Support and assist the Duty Manager / Customs Manager to look for improvement and enhancement of the process flow facilities and equipment in order to cope for continuous business growth and endless customers needs
Coordinate shift rosters to meet clearance demands at a high service quality
Respond accurately and make prompt and effective decisions to address any issues encountered during the shift
Ensure customs compliance are met and have been implemented
Ensure close communication and co-ordination between different functions as a result to maintain the operation efficiency
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 10:00 18:30
YOUR PROFILE:
- Communication skills (English) spoken and written
- Broker experience an advantage
- 3 years industry knowledge
- Experience in a supervisor role preferred
- A relevant/valid working visa is required for applicants from countries other than New Zealand
