What you will do:

The Pre-validation Engineering Change Controller plays a key role in the engineering change process and acts as a bridge between Engineering and Operations. They serve as Chair of the Manufacturing Change Board coordinate engineering change execution within operations and communicate changes once approved.

  • Chair the Manufacturing Change Board
  • Understand the impact each engineering changes may have on various groups within Operations with whom the change must be communicated and coordinated
  • Engage with Manufacturing Operations Global Supply Chain and assembly sites to gather commitments for engineering change execution
  • Create and present monthly reports to leadership including the status of engineering changes
  • Manage standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs
  • Ensure policies procedures and standard work are followed
  • Collaborate across functional areas to manage change and implement new processes

Qualifications you must have:

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of related experience in Operations or Supply Chain; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Understanding of supply chain and MRP processes
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions
  • Understanding of bills of material and configuration management
  • Experience reading technical drawings / blueprints
  • Knowledge and familiarity with TeamCenter
  • Proficient knowledge of product change incorporation processes
  • APICS / ASCM certification
  • Raytheon Six Sigma ACE or CORE advanced certification
  • Experience with MS SharePoint site administration

This role is:

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
