Job Description
Leidos is on the hunt for a skilled Windows System Administrator to support high-impact missions at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) in Suitland MD. This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
What Will You Do:
- Administer and support Windows-based mission applications and hardware.
- Configure maintain and secure physical and virtual systems to STIG standards.
- Lead system upgrades backups and performance tuning.
- Collaborate across IT teams to ensure seamless operations and mission success.
- Resolve technical issues using existing ticketing system and manage change requests.
- Maintain detailed documentation and asset inventories.
- Provide strategic recommendations for hardware refresh cycles.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of related experience or Masters degree with 8 years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Security CE or IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server () Active Directory SCCM and GPOs.
- Strong troubleshooting configuration and migration skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with rack-mounted servers networking and peripherals.
