The role
The Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) is seeking enthusiastic individuals ready to expand their legal expertise in a diverse legal team including areas such as planning & development (including legislation) property & commercial and litigation. You will be part of initiatives that manage land and parklands increase housing supply preserve cultural heritage (including native title) and support improved outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities. This recruitment process aims to build a Talent Pool for ongoing and temporary roles that may arise over the next 18 months. If youre passionate about making an impact we would love to hear from you!
As a Paralegal within the Department you will be a part of a rotating roster across the different teams in Legal Services and may engage in work in a broad range of matters relating to planning native title local government and litigation.
With numerous exciting projects being managed across the legal teams our Paralegals support our lawyers on some of the Departments most high-profile cases providing timely and effective legal and administrative support to assist in the delivery of exceptional legal services to our clients.
