Location: Onsite in New York City Charlotte or Chicago Duration: Project-based
RSM is seeking a Temporary Manager to support financial crimes model risk validation and optimization projects for banking and financial services clients. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in financial crimes models and backend coding with the ability to manage teams lead engagements independently and ensure scope and deliverables are met.
Lead financial crimes model validations (AML sanctions KYC optimization).
Work with platforms such as Actimize Verafin Oracle FCCMand Fircosoft.
Apply backend coding and data analytics skills (Python R Studio SQL Alteryx) to test models and analyze data.
Manage staff: scope projects review work coach and guide junior professionals.
Oversee execution of work programs and deliverables.
Present findings clearly through reports and client presentations.
7 years experience in banking or consulting with a focus on financial crimes and model risk.
Proven experience validating financial crimes models.
Strong proficiency in Python R Studio and SQL (backend coding required).
Experience managing teams and engagements.
Implementation experience is a plus.
Certifications such as CAMS CPA FRM or CFA are preferred.

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
