Were looking for a passionate and curious Actuarial Analyst to step into a dynamic role filled with variety challenge and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple actuarial teams. While your primary focus will be on capital reporting and modelling youll also gain exposure to a wide range of projects across the actuarial function.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of capital reporting forecasting and performance insights for Suncorp New Zealand
- Contributing to capital modelling that drives business decisions and profit outcomes
- Preparing and analysing complex data sets and financial information
- Presenting insights and findings to a range of stakeholders
- Assisting with strategic reporting that shapes how we manage the business
- Collaborating with actuarial colleagues on projects and ad-hoc work to broaden your expertise
What You Bring
- A recent graduate or up to 2 years experience in a similar role
- University degree in Mathematics Statistics Finance Economics or another quantitative discipline
- A genuine interest in pursuing Fellowship with the Actuaries Institute of Australia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to drive process improvements
- Familiarity with tools such as Igloo R Python SQL SAS (desirable but not essential)
