Job Description
Your Tasks
- You are responsible for the conception design and development of IT projects.
- You plan and execute tests to ensure software quality.
- You create and maintain program documentation.
- You contribute to the optimization of processes.
- In addition you provide emergency support for the ERP system at our offices in Schaumburg and Santiago de Quertaro (Mexico) during the closing hours of our headquarters.
Your Qualifications
- You have experience in development with RPG; knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or C/C is a plus.
- You have practical experience on the IBM OS/400 platform (System i Power).
- You bring sound knowledge and hands-on experience with databases ideally with DB2 on OS/400.
- You are interested in and experienced with applying AI in software development with the goal of increasing personal output through its use in everyday work.
- You are willing to work with code that is commented in German while daily collaboration with the team in Marbach (Germany) will primarily take place in English.
- Very good written and spoken English skills are essential; German language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
- Strong teamwork skills flexibility an independent working style and the ability to perform well under pressure characterize your profile.
