The Opportunity
As Partnerships Manager for VidCon youll drive revenue growth by developing strategic sponsorships and partnerships with leading consumer brands and creator economy companies across VidCons diverse audience tracks: Community Creator Industry and VIP. Youll be expected to learn and become proficient in the unique value propositions and sponsorship opportunities for each distinct audience segment. Youll join a dynamic team working with prestigious clients such as YouTube Meta TikTok Disney Hasbro and The Coca-Cola Company.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Audience Business Development & Sales
- Develop expertise in VidCons four distinct audience tracks (Community Creator Industry and VIP) and their unique sponsorship opportunities
- Identify and secure new partnerships with brand marketers agencies and creator economy companies across all audience segments
- Develop customized sponsorship packages that address the specific needs of each audience track
- Create cross-track sponsorship opportunities that maximize brand presence throughout the VidCon ecosystem
- Convert prospects into long-term partners through consultative selling approaches
- Achieve and exceed individual revenue targets and KPIs across all audience segments
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers through high-touch engagement
- Host clients and prospects at events creating memorable experiences that drive loyalty
- Collaborate with Account Management to ensure flawless execution of partner activations across all audience tracks
- Conduct post-event analysis to enhance future partnerships and drive renewals
- Develop expertise in matching brand objectives with the most appropriate audience segment(s)
Strategic Execution
- Create Win-Win-Win programs benefiting clients VidCon and our fan communities
- Develop innovative sponsorship concepts that authentically connect brands with creator culture
- Maintain detailed pipeline and activity reporting through Salesforce
- Contribute insights and opportunities during collaborative sales meetings
- Identify cross-selling opportunities between audience tracks to maximize partnership value
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years exceeding sales quotas in event sponsorship experiential marketing or media sales
- Proven track record of closing five and six-figure partnership deals
- Established relationships with brand marketers or B2B decision-makers in the creator economy
- Experience developing and presenting compelling sales proposals to senior executives
- Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in selling across diverse audience segments
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office applications
- Regular travel to events and client meetings is required including potential international travel.
