Project Manager (HDD/Trenchless Drilling) - Utility/Electrical Infrastructure
Job Summary
We re seeking an experienced Project Manager (HDD) to lead underground utility installation projects from planning to delivery. You ll take ownership of feasibility execution team development safety and client relationships ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end HDD project delivery including planning design review and execution
Manage an in-house HDD team (drill operators locators support staff)
Oversee site investigations bore path planning drilling operations and fluid management
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and technical standards (OSHA NEMA IEEE HDD best practices)
Liaise with clients authorities subcontractors and inspectors to resolve technical and permitting issues
Track budgets procurement equipment and inventory to ensure cost efficiency
Prepare progress reports method statements and as-built documentation
Support tendering and business development opportunities
Requirements
Degree in Civil Electrical Construction Management or related field
8 10 years proven experience in HDD project management (utilities/electrical sector preferred)
Strong technical expertise in HDD equipment tracking systems and fluid management
Skilled in project scheduling budgeting and contract management
Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management abilities
Advantage: HDD/trenchless certification (e.g. NASTT) PMP or equivalent credentials
