Virtual Claim Support Specialist (Independent Contractor)
Location: Remote (LATAM South Africa or Philippines)
- $500 $1000 Based on Experience
Industry: Private Investigations / Unclaimed Property Recovery
Schedule: Flexible remote Secondary shift after 3 PM MST for inbound inquiries
About the Role
Join a small agile team at a licensed private investigative firm specializing in unclaimed property recovery. As a Virtual Claim Support Specialist you will play a pivotal role in supporting marketing sales and operations efforts ensuring that unclaimed property claims move efficiently from lead to payout. This is a multi-faceted role involving marketing coordination sales support and operational assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Collect format and prepare raw leads using Excel or MS Access
- Verify standardize and clean lead contact data using public records and PI databases
- Maintain Stagnant and New lead lists and schedule direct-mail email and text campaigns
Sales Support
- Monitor and respond to inbound emails texts and phone calls (secondary shift after 3 PM MST)
- Send electronic Claimant Agreements (UPRAs) and track signatures
- Manage hot vs. cold leads triggering follow-up outreach as needed
- Assist with onboarding new claimants and document submission
Operations & Virtual Assistance
- Prepare meeting agendas and update Sales Marketing and Operations scorecards
- Follow up with claimants regarding missing forms or identification
- Contact courts reporting companies and government agencies for case-specific details
Qualifications
- Data Savvy: Proficient in Excel CRM systems (Salesforce) and data-cleanup methods
- Strong Communication: Clear friendly phone email and text correspondence
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in verifying lead info and tracking contract signatures
- Organizational Ability: Comfortable juggling multiple lists schedules and agendas
- Adaptability: Quick learner capable of switching between marketing sales support and operational tasks
