Job Description

Arlo Europe part of Verisure is seeking a talented innovative passionate Amazon Sales Account Manager Intern to be based in Munich Germany. The role will be part of the Amazon Sales Team and will directly report into the Head of Amazon based in London UK and will work closely with other company departments.

Strategic context and Value proposition

Verisure is the leading provider of monitored security solutions in Europe and Latin 2019 we formed a strategic partnership with Arlo a world leader in connected cameras. Verisure acquired all rights to Arlos European business in particular the exclusive distribution rights for Arlo branded camera products for all sales channels in Europe including e-commerce and retail. Additionally Verisure entered into a supply agreement with Arlo whereby we get access to the full portfolio and past and future innovation stream of Arlo camera products to sell through the Verisure direct or partner channels across all our countries.

Today Verisure does not focus on e-commerce and retail channels. Instead we drive our core go to market channels: direct field sales Alliances and telesales. The acquisition of Arlo Europe gives us a strong leadership position in these two emerging and important channels for our business. This transaction has strategic importance. Camera led subscription services building on surveillance versus professionally monitored security are now creating attractive incremental growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

As an Amazon Sales Account Manager Intern youll play a vital support role within our Amazon team. You will work closely with experienced Account Managers and collaborate with colleagues across marketing supply chain and finance to ensure our operations across Germany and the Netherlands run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Amazon Vendor Central while learning how to navigate one of the worlds most competitive retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of our Amazon Vendor Central accounts for Germany and the Netherlands region
  • Monitor product availability retail readiness and pricing accuracy across multiple categories
  • Assist with content optimisation including titles bullet points imagery checks and A content updates
  • Track key performance metrics and assist with weekly and monthly reporting
  • Liaise with the supply chain and finance teams to help monitor forecasting chargebacks and delivery performance
  • Help submit and follow up on cases via Amazons support system (Vendor Central case management)
  • Research market trends competitive activity and potential growth opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects in collaboration with teams across the business
  • Stay up to date with Amazon policies guidelines and retail innovations

Location

Hire based in Munich Germany (Hybrid).

Reports and organization structure

Direct reporting line into Head of Amazon London UK.

Candidate profile

Experience and Qualifications

  • Currently studying towards a degree in Business Marketing E-commerce or a related field
  • Fluency in English is essential; German and/or Dutch language skills are a strong advantage
  • A keen interest in e-commerce consumer brands and Amazon as a sales channel
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Confident using Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas pivot tables lookups)
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multi-functional teams
  • Previous exposure to Amazon Vendor Central is a plus but not essential
