Economics Academic Mentor Immediate Start
Haringey 500550 per week Term-time only
Are you an Economics graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education before pursuing teacher training postgraduate study or a future career in policy finance or academia
A high-achieving sixth form in Haringey is seeking a passionate and driven Graduate to join their team as an Economics Academic Mentor. This is a fantastic opportunity to support ambitious A-Level students many of whom are aiming for top Russell Group universities including Oxbridge.
Economics Academic Mentor The Role
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support in Economics to raise attainment.
- Provide mentoring around study skills time management and academic confidence.
- Support students with university applications personal statements and interview prep.
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to ensure students make strong progress.
- Gain valuable classroom and mentoring experience in a dynamic high-performing sixth form.
Economics Academic Mentor About You
- A recent Economics graduate from a top 25 UK University.
- Passionate about education social mobility and supporting young people.
- A confident communicator able to inspire and motivate sixth form students.
- Interested in exploring a career in teaching academia policy or related fields.
- Former Child-centered experience is a great bonus.
