This is an individual contributor role to provide Medical Examination professional medical advice for product development Underwriting and Claims cases provide medical training internal/external customers and sales distribution.Job Responsibilities
- Conduct medical examination of insurance applicants in a professional and efficient manner
- Provide professional medical advice and discussion with reinsurers or any other related parties on underwriting and claims cases to ensure the assessment quality and risk management
- Provide professional medical advice and discussion with reinsurers or any other related parties for product development or projects to enable our comparative advantage
- Provide medical training to key stakeholders (e.g. underwriters claims assessors marketing department and distribution channels etc.) to strengthen their medical knowledge for selling and servicing or to external customers for customer engagement.
- Responsible for the adoption and implementation of policies and procedures concerning healthcare services under the Private Healthcare Facilities Ordinance (PHFO) whenever applicable
Job Requirements
- Medial degree registered with Medical Council of HKSAR
- At least 5 years of working experience as a registered medical practitioner after post-qualification
- General Practitioner and corporate experience are required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English
- Fluent in Mandarin Cantonese and English
