Job Description
- Establish and manage the Parents as Partners Pilot program in Hume Merri-bek

- Part Time Maximum Term until 30 June 2026
Your new role
this role as Parents as Partners Coordinator you will be responsible for establishing and managing the Parents as Partners Pilot program. You will recruit support and mentor Parent Partners particularly those with lived experience to help families experiencing cumulative harm in Hume Merri-bek.
Working under the Manager Family Services and Orange Door you will collaborate with community organisations and DFFH to deliver a scalable mentoring program that promotes meaningful family engagement and empowerment.

Your skills and experience
- Bachelors degree in a community services community development health or human services area preferred or experience in/exposure to one of these areas.
- Coaching or workplace change qualifications or substantial experience in providing systematic and structured follow-on support after initial training
- Ability to provide feedback without bias or judgement.
- Understanding of cultural safety and empathy for people with a diverse range of backgrounds- commitment to improving services for Consumers and Consumer rights
