Heres the Deal:
We are seeking a Functional Product Manager Tax to play a crucial role in the development and management of tax-related processes and products. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple functions drive process re-engineering and implement innovative technology solutions that align with strategic tax goals. You will help design and optimize tax processes ensure compliance with global regulations and champion change management initiatives that will strengthen Maersks tax and finance landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process re-engineering and business process improvements within finance tax and commercial processes.
- Ideate and deliver holistic solutions across ERP systems (SAP S4 HANA SAP ECC IFS10 OneStream legacy platforms and new technologies).
- Assess impacts of tax law changes and ensure compliance within existing systems.
- Partner with project delivery teams: provide business requirements review solution designs and support configuration and implementation.
- Contribute to the design and governance of critical access roles.
- Drive communication and change management with internal stakeholders to promote standardization automation and compliance.
- Develop and update the Global Process Landscape & SOPs as guidance for tax outcomes.
- Proactively identify control risks in tax processes and implement mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate end-to-end processes working toward automated efficient and standardized solutions.
The Basics:
Academic Background: Bachelors degree in business Finance or Taxation.
Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years in tax finance or commercial process roles within large global multinational organizations.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tax finance processes and relevant tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience in finance system implementation projects (SAP S4 HANA RAR FICA SAC etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel Project).
Soft Skills: - Strong project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance client needs technical feasibility and business goals.
- Proven track record in leading change and managing transformation projects.
