Key Responsibilities for Electrical Field Leadership

• Lead mentor and manage a team of field electricians and service technicians specializing in residential service and repair
• Ensure all residential electrical projects and service calls are completed on time within budget and according to high safety and quality standards
• Oversee scheduling dispatch and resource allocation for the residential service team
• Conduct job site visits to support team members monitor work and uphold company standards
• Provide technical guidance resolve on-site issues and foster continuous learning
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated home automation and electrical solutions
• Maintain regulatory compliance with local state and national electrical codes
• Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Build strong customer relationships by addressing service concerns and ensuring quality outcomes
• Generate and review operational reports to track progress and identify areas for growth

What Were Looking For in an Operations Manager

• Proven experience supervising or managing teams in the residential electrical service industry
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Texas) required
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential electrical systems troubleshooting repairs and best practices
• Outstanding leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Familiarity with field service management software and reporting tools

• Valid drivers license with a clean record

Qualifications & Experience for Residential Electrical Operations Management

• 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician with at least 2 years of people or operations management experience
• Extensive experience in residential service environments; home technology experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or management certifications are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational results
