Critical Business Analysis has a current opening for a entry to mid-level experienced Primavera P6 contract Scheduler with a minimum of three years experience in P6 scheduling with experience in the electrical distribution utility industry. This is a CONTRACT position. Candidate must be able to analyze and critique schedule data update the project schedule and communicate the impact of that analysis to the project stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings. The candidate will possess excellent organization and time management skills and a tactful and professional demeanor. Candidates must have strong Primavera P6 experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment. This individual will be paired with a Project Manager and will be responsible for leading meetings and discussions related to budgeting scheduling and resource allocation. He or she schedules design engineering and construction activities resolves conflicts and updates schedule progress. The analyst will also produce reports for key Stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or Construction Management - preferred not required
- MUST be located in the Atlanta area.
- Minimum of two years experience using P6 with a preference for experience in the electrical transmission industry.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma P6 Certification or related Professional Experience.
- Familiar with look-ahead scheduling tracking and progress reporting.
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective working in a group Project Controls environment.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of project stakeholders.
- Must have a valid driver s license
- MUST be approved to work in the United States and does not require sponsorship
- Ability to read and write fluently in English
- Competency with MS Office Excel Word and Outlook.
Experience in Electrical utility distribution, Minimum 2 yrs of Construction project scheduling experience
Education
Construction management or Engineering Degree preferred but not required
