Job Summary
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and professional team at Anantara Stanely and Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel as a Senior Food and Beverage Attendant. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Day to day you will:
- Lead by example ensuring friendly professional service at all times.
- Have full knowledge of menu items including ingredients and allergens.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new and junior team members.
- Accurately process customer orders using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean well-organised service area and complete closing procedures.
- Replenish and rotate stock record breakages and ensure proper stock control.
- Polish and wrap cutlery fold napkins and maintain glassware.
- Clear tables and clean as you go to maintain presentation and hygiene.
- Handle payments and generate accurate receipts.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Qualifications :
To be a success in this position you will have:
- 12 months supervisory experience gained in a similar role
- 2 years experience working within a restaurant or hotel environment
- Solid understanding of alcohol (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
- A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
