Our client a premier AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with 46 years of transactional experience to join its nationally recognized Health Care Practice Group. This team advises a broad range of clients across the health care and life sciences sectors including physician groups telemedicine companies health systems and private equity and venture investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle complex health care transactions including mergers acquisitions and joint ventures.
Draft and negotiate sophisticated transactional documents.
Advise clients on federal and state health care regulations and their application to business operations and transactions.
Collaborate with cross-office teams and support the development and mentorship of junior associates.
Participate in client development and help execute strategic initiatives of the practice group.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
4 to 6 years of transactional experience ideally with a focus on health care clients.
Strong understanding of health care regulatory issues and their impact on business transactions.
Excellent drafting writing and communication skills.
Experience managing complex matters independently and efficiently.
Admission to the Bar in good standing; the ability to gain timely admission in the jurisdiction of the office is required.
Prior AmLaw 100 or equivalent large law firm experience preferred.
