Job Description:
Project Manager Special Meals (SPML) Program
Youll manage the airlines global Special Meals program ensuring customers get consistent high-quality options that meet dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian gluten-free religious diets).
The job blends project management stakeholder coordination and operational follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee timelines and deliverables for special meal updates and launches.
Work with culinary catering and supply chain teams to execute plans.
Keep recipes photos and product specs accurate in internal systems.
Support menu presentations tastings and photo shoots.
Approve menu codes and descriptions.
Answer internal/external program questions.
Ensure meals meet dietary guidelines and customer expectations.
Track performance and identify improvements.
Main goal is to drive efficiency and logistics for the team.
Nutrition/food backgrounds will be heavily prioritized (understanding of specialty diets: vegetarian low sodium etc.)
Must have excellent Excel Word and PowerPoint skills.
Qualifications :
Ideal Background
Project management experience (especially in food service hospitality or airline ops).
Strong organization communication and multi-stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable with documentation tools (Excel PowerPoint internal systems).
Knowledge of dietary requirements is a plus.
Experience with specialized diets or religious dietary laws is a bonus.
Core Skills Needed
Detail-oriented deadline-driven collaborative able to balance creativity with operational feasibility.
Ideally a junior- to mid-level Project Manager will be the best fit for this role.
