Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in product quality management and process improvement. This role will oversee all aspects of quality assurance drive ISO 9001 compliance lead corrective action initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction through continuous improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QA department ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.

  • Oversee product quality across all manufacturing processes implementing best practices to drive consistency and excellence.

  • Develop implement and monitor corrective and preventive action plans in response to audits nonconformances and customer feedback.

  • Collaborate directly with customers to address quality concerns provide technical support and ensure satisfaction.

  • Manage process improvements through root cause analysis risk assessments and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits ensuring ongoing compliance with aerospace and industry-specific requirements.

  • Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality systems ISO standards and corrective action procedures.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and monitor key quality metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Quality Management or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience managing quality assurance in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards corrective action processes and audit procedures.

  • Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with customers to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.

  • Exceptional communication leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Aerospace industry experience with ISO 9001 and corrective action training.

  • Demonstrated success in managing process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
