Job Description
The Mapper plays a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the accuracy of digital maps within the Angkas application. This position is dedicated to identifying and correcting navigational discrepancies to ensure optimal routing and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update access points navigational markers and geospatial data within mapping systems.
- Correct inaccurate routes and ensure alignment with real-world road networks.
- Collaborate with the product and technical teams to integrate new mapping data.
- Address and resolve complaints or feedback related to navigational issues from both bikers and customers.
- Conduct periodic map accuracy audits and propose improvements.
- Any other task required by the supervisor
Requirements
- Familiarity with digital mapping tools (e.g. Google Maps APIs OpenStreetMap).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inaccuracies in geospatial data.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage high-demand mapping projects under tight deadlines.
- Proactive attitude in suggesting and implementing map-related enhancements.
- Open to work on a project-based basis
