We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Orthopaedic Inpatient Unit to a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Gives designated patients direct care.
- Identifies nursing diagnoses and patient care requirements gathers nursing history and summarises data.
- Displays the evaluation of changes the suggested revision of interventions and the intended results. Observes and documents signs symptoms and behaviours including the physiological status of patients.
- Complies with the guidelines for initiating a customized treatment plan for patients who are admitted.
- Provides assigned patients with specific nurse interventions that align with the specified medical plan of care.
- Supports others with patient care and activities and carries out admission discharge and transfer processes.
- Carries out doctors orders for all assigned patients; gives prescriptions and treatments in a safe and appropriate manner.
Requirements
- In good standing is the NMBI Registered General Nurse license.
- It is preferred to have one year of orthopaedic experience.
- Knowledge and Skills Particular to the Job
- Exhibit the capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
