Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a nursing home in Dublin Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Person in Charge/Unit Manager in providing clinical and professional leadership and deliver direct resident care.

  • Ensure high standards of care consistent with the mission vision values.

  • Recognise each resident as an individual prioritising their rights needs and comfort.

  • Build supportive relationships that promote resident autonomy informed choice and evidence-based decision-making.

  • Promote resident safety privacy dignity and rights in all aspects of care.

  • Encourage and support residents to exercise personal autonomy and make independent choices.

  • Assist residents in maintaining their sense of identity and participation in decision-making.

  • Operate the home in a manner that respects diversity in age gender orientation ability culture and beliefs.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan assess and deliver person-centred care that maximises independence and quality of life.



  • Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible for registration.

  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience including experience at Senior Staff Nurse or CNM level.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology and management qualifications desirable.

  • Experience in gerontology psycho-geriatric nursing psychiatry or adult disability care preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of the ageing process and person-centred care.

  • Good IT and documentation skills.

  • Management course completion is an advantage.
