We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Support the Person in Charge/Unit Manager in providing clinical and professional leadership and deliver direct resident care.
Ensure high standards of care consistent with the mission vision values.
Recognise each resident as an individual prioritising their rights needs and comfort.
Build supportive relationships that promote resident autonomy informed choice and evidence-based decision-making.
Promote resident safety privacy dignity and rights in all aspects of care.
Encourage and support residents to exercise personal autonomy and make independent choices.
Assist residents in maintaining their sense of identity and participation in decision-making.
Operate the home in a manner that respects diversity in age gender orientation ability culture and beliefs.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan assess and deliver person-centred care that maximises independence and quality of life.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible for registration.
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience including experience at Senior Staff Nurse or CNM level.
Post Graduate Diploma in Gerontology and management qualifications desirable.
Experience in gerontology psycho-geriatric nursing psychiatry or adult disability care preferred.
Strong knowledge of the ageing process and person-centred care.
Good IT and documentation skills.
Management course completion is an advantage.
