Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare servicesto theFlorida Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full timeCertified Nursing Assistantto join our team atCharlotte Correctional Institutionlocated inPunta Gorda Florida.
TheCNAworks under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene daily living needs and vital sign monitoring. CNA will work in the lab - phlebotomy experience would be very helpful but will train if needed.
Schedule: 5am-1:30pm Monday - Friday
Qualifications
- Florida CNA license
- Phlebotomy experience is preferredbut will train if needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current CPR
- One year experience in acute care long term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
