Job Description
Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Crop Sales Professional to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales into the permanent crop sector covering Blueberries Citrus Macadamias Avocados and Bananas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong agricultural knowledge and a passion for building relationships within the farming industry.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop manage and grow sales into the permanent crop sector across Zimbabwe.
- Build strong long-term relationships with growers by offering tailored solutions and product recommendations.
- Provide technical support and agronomic guidance to clients ensuring products are used effectively and crop yields are maximized.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening existing client accounts.
- Conduct regular farm visits across the Eastern Highlands Beitbridge and other key regions to understand client needs and provide on-the-ground support.
- Monitor industry trends competitor activities and market conditions to inform business strategy and highlight opportunities for growth.
- Deliver sales presentations prepare quotations and negotiate contracts in line with company objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and the smooth delivery of products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and market feedback for reporting and planning purposes.
Key Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in agricultural sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Highly self-motivated organized and capable of working independently while managing extensive travel.
- Technical knowledge of permanent crops with Citrus expertise being a distinct advantage.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (or related field).
- Minimum 3 years experience working with one or more of the following: Blueberries Citrus Macadamias Avocados Bananas.
- Valid drivers license.
