The Opportunity
Our esteemed client a diversified conglomerate with core operations in car retail securities and real estate is seeking an IT Director who will oversee all technological operations and ensure they align with our business objectives across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports and enhances the companys objectives in car retail securities and real estate sectors.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the maintenance upgrading and optimization of all IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Implement robust security measures to protect company data and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with department heads and key stakeholders to identify technology needs and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and manage the IT departments budget ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external technology vendors and service providers to ensure the best value and service quality.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard the companys technological assets.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in IT management
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure systems and best practices including experience with industry-specific software and technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience in aligning IT initiatives with business goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
