Worker will assist in running service calls and installing computer and printer hardware in *** stores. Locations to be visited will be in the Sacramento Roseville and Folsom CA area. Some drive times may be several hours in each direction. A permanent *** FTS employee will provide direction and support on a daily basis. Worker must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to drive themselves between several *** locations on a daily basis. Worker will be reimbursed for miles driven on weekly expense report at *** reimbursement rate*** Must have previous hardware repair experience have ability to work on their own lift 75lbs work flexible hours complete required paperwork and have excellent customer service skills. Schedule will be 40 hours per week and might include weekends and holidays as part of normal work days. This is not a work from home position it requires driving to different stores throughout the day. BACKGROUND MUST INCLUDE MVR FOR THIS ROLE DUE TO DRIVING
Individuals are responsible for repairing staging configuring and QA IT hardware to stores and field service technicians. This position will also refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment. Constant walking and standing. Constant lifting less then 30lbs but occasionally lifting up to 80lbs with assistance.
Duties: Administer asset tracking using *** software systems. Provide staging configuration and bench repairs of specific *** store hardware. Process all applicable warranty claims. Accurately record all production details and inventory movements. Refurbish and QA returned store hardware equipment.
Education/Experience/Qualifications: Technical individual with 2 years of technical school and/or experience preferred. Administrative computer skills Word and Excel are also preferred
Must Haves: Strong attention to detail Must be able to multitask Good mechanical aptitude Will train the right candidate how to do the job
