Job Title: HALLOWEEN LIFT RIDE COORDINATOR
Department: MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS
Rate of Pay: $30.00/hr
Shift: Monday through Sunday Days and Nights.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly
SUMMARY
The Halloween Lift Ride Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution of the Halloween Lift Ride.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the planning of each years Halloween Lift Ride theme.
- Collaborate with team members for scene development.
- Hire and train all actors involved in production.
- Coordinate all costume needs for Halloween Cast.
- Be present each night of the Halloween Lift Ride to ensure a smooth and successful operation.
- Manage the Halloween Crew in planning and executing set-up of all scenes.
- Manage the Halloween Cast in their nightly assignments.
- Manage budget and labor for set up execution and tear down.
- Work closely with departments to ensure a successful event i.e. Mountain Operations F&B ZipTour etc.
- Work with marketing team to develop a marketing strategy to promote event.
- Work with Audio-Visual partner to determine visual needs and budget for each season.
- Coordinate with IT department and Ticket Office Manager to ensure Micros is updated and ready for event.
- Work closely with Ticket Office Manager to schedule ticketing staff for nights of events.
- Provide schedule to Maintenance department in a timely manner.
- Work with Bike Patrol for nightly help and set up needs.
- Arrange outside vendor delivery of materials and supplies for production.
- Oversee tear down and proper storage of all Halloween scenes after Halloween Lift Rides.
- Ensure the base area is restored to its original setting.
- Be good stewards of the mountain and train staff to support the recycling program.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supervision of roughly 30 people interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Complete all applicable paperwork for the above responsibilities and submit to HR in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Communicate clearly and concisely in writing or verbally.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience with organizing and executing projects with lots of moving pieces.
- Must type a minimum of 40-50 words per minute. Must be proficient in Excel MS Word MS Publisher electronic mail and internet navigation. Previous experience with timekeeping payroll and HR software a plus.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers License in good standing as determined by Sundances Insurance Company guidelines.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand use hands to finger handle or feel reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk sit climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is frequently exposed to outside winter weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold wet and/or humid conditions for much of the day. The employee will sometimes work with moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
