Construction Field Inspector
We are seeking a Construction Field Inspector to support the growth of our FTTX fiber optic this role you will verify facility placement inspect cables equipment and pole installations and ensure all work meets Omni Fibers standards and industry best practices. This position is well-suited for individuals with a background in telecommunications or construction.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect fiber optic construction sites cables poles equipment and restoration efforts of contractors.
- Document site conditions with accurate notes photos and reports
- Communicate findings to project managers and other peers within the organization.
- Traveling to our various job sites in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
- If you are assigned a company vehicle you will be responsible for stocking cleaning and reporting maintenance needs to the Fleet Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in telecommunications is preferred but not required.
- Valid Drivers License with satisfactory driving record within company standards is required.
- Must have a valid drivers license & clean driving record
- Understanding or ability to review blueprints/designs and use computer tools to capture and share field data
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Willingness to travel on short notice (overnight stays included and we do provide per diem)
