Our client is aleading company in the Digital Asset Fund and Crypto Asset Management business.
Responsibilities:
- Staying updated on trends technologies and regulations in fund management crypto and blockchain to maintain alignment with market standards.
- Drafting revising and enforcing operational policies to meet requirements from regulatory bodies (e.g. SEC BOT AMLO).
- Collaborating across departments to ensure all operations adhere to internal policies and external compliance standards.
- Acting as the primary contact for regulatory discussions with organizations like the SEC AMLO and BOT.
- Establishing and monitoring policies and operational frameworks to enhance efficiency based on best practices in fund management.
- Overseeing processes for approving and closing user accounts.
- Leading and managing the Operations Team to ensure effective and efficient workflows.
- Supervising the preparation of investment-related reports ensuring accurate NAV calculations for client portfolios.
- Evaluating and recommending risk management frameworks as part of the Risk Management Committee.
- Advising the Board Investment Committee and executives on operational best practices and strategic policies.
- Executing additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership maintaining agility in a fast-evolving fintech/blockchain environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations within a fund management firm or financial institution.
- In-depth knowledge of operational processes in the crypto financial services or fund management sectors.
- Proven experience engaging with regulators (e.g. SEC BOT AMLO) on operations-related matters.
- Familiarity with designing and implementing fund management policies and procedures alongside management teams (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience preparing applications and obtaining asset management licenses in Thailand (preferred but not mandatory).
- Self-motivated and adaptable capable of quickly learning and taking on various roles in a growing team.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on urgency pragmatism and solutions.
- Commercially aware goal-oriented and skilled at building influence and fostering relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills able to convey legal and compliance concepts to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both English and Thai with strong reading writing and speaking abilities.
