Mott MacDonald is a global engineering management and development consultancy. We are well-established in Singapore and currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and drivenPrincipal Structural Engineerto join our Buildings sector in our Singapore office. You will be working on exciting projects across a variety of buildings (instituitional commercial industrial etc).

This is an opportunity to be involved in building structures projects of various sizes across Singapore and in the Asia region. This will be a role that will be challenging varied and demanding while offering fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development.
You will work on highly complex building structures and push the boundaries of innovative design. We are looking for candidates with strong technical skills creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for engineering excellence.
The candidate shall be engaged in delivery design submission construction support as-build and completion of our projects.
The other duties include:
- Undertake detailed design in foundation concrete and steelworks structures.
- Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution.
- Provide design sketches and reports required for schematic design development and constructions phases of projects.
- Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis as required for the statutory submission.
- Attending technical / progress meeting with clients and inspections during construction.
About You:
- Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineering Board (Singapore).
- Minimum 8 years post graduate experience with an engineering consulting background background in Building Structures across a variety of projects
- Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot TSD SAP 2000 STAAD Pro ETABS SAFE etc.
- Experience with complex structural design.
- Familiar with the latest international codes of practice (Singapore Code Eurocode etc).
- Familiar with Revit and delivering projects in BIM.
- Willing to mentor junior colleagues.
