We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineerto join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing analyzing and overseeing the construction of buildings bridges and other structures to ensure they are safe stable and compliant with relevant codes and regulations
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural components using steel concrete timber and other materials.
- Perform structural analysis and simulations to ensure safety and performance.
- Prepare detailed drawings specifications and construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects contractors and other engineers on project planning and execution.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Review and approve structural plans and calculations.
- Ensure designs meet local national and international building codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters degree is a plus).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in structural design and analysis (typically 3 years).
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit SAP2000 ETABS).
- Strong understanding of building codes standards and construction practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
