Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in our AWS Sales FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our fastest growing business division within Amazon. As a Finance Manager you will work closely with finance leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts turning insights into operational measurements and identifying paths to improve the overall planning and forecasting process.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who possesses expert financial modeling capabilities strong attention to detail excellent project management skills and communication abilities. You should also have proven experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Key job responsibilities
-Drive effective teamwork communication collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
-Streamline processes and lead improvement projects.
-Deliver impactful financial analysis to leadership teams and establish robust metrics to measure and enhance cost effectiveness.
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 6 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
