Position Summary

The Lead Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for but not limited to managing daily operations and leading a team of technicians to ensure our workflow is as efficient and safe as possible. This role is crucial in upholding regulatory compliance and our commitment to excellence directly impacting our mission to provide accurate and affordable wellness products for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Oversee the teams daily operations provide guidance and delegate tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Workflow Management:Create schedules and delegate daily tasks to optimize the pharmacy workflow ensuring efficient and timely medication fulfillment.

  • Performance & Development:Conduct training for new hires and provide regular constructive feedback and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.

  • Medication Fulfillment:Accurately dispense prepare and label medication orders while strictly maintaining all compliance and safety standards.

  • Inventory Management:Track and manage medication inventory ensuring supplies are always stocked and available to meet demand.

  • Compliance & Quality:Uphold all pharmacy regulations and cleanliness standards to ensure the highest level of quality and safety in all operations

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the State Board of Pharmacy in Texas

  • 5 years of pharmacy technician experience in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Familiarity with Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS) like LifeFile.

  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) national certification.

  • Experience in a fast-paced high-volume pharmacy or healthcare setting.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer

  • Ability to communicate effectively in person over the phone or via virtual meeting

  • Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as typing.
