Are you an animal lover and Pharmacy Technician looking to embark on a rewarding journey in the world of Veterinary Pharmacy Our pharmacy islooking for an enthusiastic compassionate and self-motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated and passionate team and make a meaningful impact on patient well-being.

UW Veterinary Care Pharmacy is a full-service licensed pharmacy that supports our veterinary patients through both inpatient and outpatient services. Our Pharmacy Technicians rotate through a variety of stations throughout the week including sterile compounding of injections non-sterile compounding of capsules and suspensions outpatient data entry and prescription filling stocking automated dispensing cabinets and assisting customers with prescription pick up.

Anticipated schedule for this vacancy is Monday - Friday from 10:00am - 6:30pm with rotating weekends.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Enters audits and amends prescription information and patient information in database and maintains patient records and medication inventory in accordance with regulatory policies and procedures
  • Receives accurately measures and labels medications based on prescription requests
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for customers provides information and processes prescription transactions and insurance claims according to established policies and procedures

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour minimum
