DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
Market Intelligence
- Manage the collection analysis and dissemination of competitive intelligence.
- Conduct in-depth market research and scenario planning including forecasting market share analysis and profitability studies.
- Produce technical and strategic content including market trend reports and competitive analyses.
- Formulate data-driven recommendations for senior leadership to support business development and long-term planning.
- Create and maintain strategic documents that support go-to-market initiatives and operational strategies.
- Create documents and analysis to support the earnings call preparation
- Collect from the BUs and consolidate market forecast data for the management to support strategic decisions
Knowledge & Content Management
- Maintain the Corporate Strategic Marketing shared intranet folder with updated reports white papers and internal analyses categorized by Segment and Vertical.
- Coordinate regular team meetings and calls to align market insights and strategies across business units.
- Collaborate with external market data providers to review and interpret industry reports and trends.
- Drive and manage key internal processes
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a central point of contact between Corporate Strategic Marketing and BUs.
- Partner with PLM Sales and R&D teams to gather input and share strategic market assessments.
- Promote consistent methodologies for data collection and dissemination across functions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Market Analytics Economics Engineering or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in market analysis strategic marketing business intelligence or a similar function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Prior experience in high-tech optical/photonics or industrial manufacturing sectors is advantageous but not required.
Skills
- Excellent time and project management skills; ability to prioritize effectively across multiple projects.
- Demonstrated initiative in proposing new methods for data analysis graphical representation and process optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an openness to explore new solutions.
- Proficiency in building structured repeatable market intelligence processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural cross-functional and global environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills to convey insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
